Keyboard Shortcuts

Speed up your workflow with CineLog’s comprehensive keyboard shortcuts. Master these hotkeys to navigate, edit, and manage your film projects efficiently.

CineLog includes a powerful hotkey system. Press ⌘ + K anywhere in the app to open the keyboard shortcuts help panel, or use this reference guide to learn the most important combinations.

Basic app navigation and interface controls

Toggle Sidebar Show or hide the left navigation sidebar

Toggle Theme Switch between light and dark mode

New Shot Create a new shot (opens dialog in list view, adds directly in focus mode)

⌘ + F

Enter Focus Mode Navigate to Focus Mode for scene-focused editing

⌘ + P

Export PDF Generate a PDF export of the current view

Display Settings Open the display and layout configuration overlay

⇧ + L

Layout Toggle Switch between scroll and fit-to-screen column layout

Display Mode Toggle between compact and expanded row display

Script Panel / Scene Selector Toggle the split-screen Script Panel (in linear view) or open the Focus Scene selector (in focus mode)

The ⌘ + K hotkey opens the shortcuts help panel from anywhere in the app. Use it as a quick reference while learning the system.

Start with the most common shortcuts like ⌘+N for new shots and ⌘+F for focus mode, then gradually learn others.
